Hello, I’m Richard Saint, founder of Turings People.
I spent 25 years working in software development before starting this company; the idea coming to me during an inspirational visit to Bletchley Park – the now legendary centre of codebreaking during WW2.
WHo aM I?
My life in IT began as a graduate systems analyst. I used a subsequent Masters in Software Engineering as the genesis for starting what became a sector leading CBT company – launching it with two fully *accredited courses focused on training Systems Analysts & Project Managers.
We gained an enviable list of 70+ blue chip clients (inc. GCHQ, Microsoft & Pfizer) for an evolving portfolio of professional IT training and support systems; we also developed a highly successful range of management soft skills courses.
After selling the company I took a high-level consultancy role, streamlining systems for a number of multinationals, before starting Turings People – having seen the clear need for a knowledge based recruitment service in this sector.
Turings People comprises a growing network of associated professionals who all have in depth knowledge of the IT sector.
*(BCS, NCC & APM) these are respectively: British Computer Society, National Computing Centre & Association for Project Management),
I have been a qualified pilot since age 16, and have gained extensive experience of numerous airsports – from hang gliding and sailplanes to sky diving. I also enjoy; running, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding and surfing. In quieter moments I like to read and I enjoy creative writing.
